ROOM RATE:
The NCHELP room rate is $159.00, single or double occupancy. The group rate has been extended to you for a period of three days prior and three days after the meeting dates, based on availability.
HOTEL RESERVATION PROCEDURE:
Attendees may telephone the Omni by calling the hotel at (404) 659-
0000. Reference must be given to National Council of Higher Education Loan
Programs assure the group rate.
CUT-OFF DATE:
The hotel will accept reservations at the reduced conference rate until
the cut-off date of October 12, 2007 or until the NCHELP room block is full, whichever comes first. After that date, the hotel will not
offer special conference rates or assure availability, all rooms remaining
in the group block will be returned to the hotel's general inventory for
sale to other groups and individuals.
ROOM CANCELLATION:
Reservations can be canceled up to 72 hours prior to arrival without penalty. If the cancellation takes places within 72 hours prior to arrival a cancellation fee of one nights room charge will apply with the exception of medical emergencies.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES:
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 12:00 p.m.
AIR TRANSPORTATION:
The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is approximately 12 miles from Omni.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION:
Shared-Ride Shuttles: Atlanta Link Airport Shuttle (404) 524-3400, $16.50 one-way per person/$29 per person roundtrip.
Taxi Cabs: Cost approximately $30 from Hartsfield-Jackson Airport to the
Omni Hotel at CNN Center.
ATTIRE:
Dress is business casual. The average high/low temperature in Atlanta in November is 63/44 degrees.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
• All cancellations must be in writing to the NCHELP office and addressed to
conferences@nchelp.org.
• Cancellation fees will be assessed for both prepaid and non-prepaid registrations.
• Registrations cancelled prior to September 17, 2007 will receive a full refund minus a $75 administrative fee.
• Registrations cancelled prior to October 8, 2007 will receive 50% refund minus a $75 administrative fee.
• Registrations cancelled after October 8, 2007 will not receive a refund.
• Registrations may be transferred to another registrant from your organization within the same conference at any time. A $75 administrative fee will apply.
• Please note that registrations fees from prior conferences/conventions for your organization will be deducted from any refunds.
• Refunds will be processed 30 days after the conference.
